Some Greatest Cricket Rivalries of Team India

Cricket in India is like a religion and Indians cannot see their religion failing as it is superior to them. Cricket fans all over the globe want that the team they support should win at all the cost. Some biggest cricket rivalries of India with other nations include India vs Pakistan, India vs Australia, India vs England, India vs Sri Lanka, India vs South Africa, and India vs Bangladesh.

India vs Pakistan is one of the greatest cricket battles of all the time. The crowd in both the countries are highly involved in the match during IND vs PAK match and many times the crowd goes violent when their side loses the match. India and Pakistan have war rivalries too since the partition of British India into India and Pakistan.

Then in World Cup 2007, India defeated Australia in the semi-finals. In fact, any match between India and Australia is interesting and challenging.

India vs England is also the greatest rivalry in cricket. It rivalry has seen many historic incidents. The 11th Match of Group B in ICC Cricket World Cup at Bengaluru on 27 February 2011 between IND and ENG ended in a tie. Both the teams made 338 runs in 50 overs.

On 19th September 2007, Yuvraj Singh hit 6 sixes in a row in a T20I. The record was made in the Stuart Broad over which was the 19th over of the match.

India vs Sri Lanka, India vs South Africa, and India vs Bangladesh are also among the greatest cricket rivalries.
