VVS Laxman predicts India will win the upcoming Test Series against Australia

The three-match T20I series between India vs Australia ended in a draw 1-1. The first T20I at the Gabba Brisbane was won by Australia by 4 runs after the revised D/L target for India has been raised to 174. Australia prematurely ended the match at 17 overs due to heavy showers that prevented last three overs from being played.

The second T20I at Melbourne Cricket Ground on November 23 was called off due to heavy rain. Yesterday India leveled the three-match T20I series by defeating the host by six wickets.

Now all the attention moved to the IND vs AUS four-match tests series that will begin from December 6. The first test is scheduled at the Adelaide Oval. Many cricket experts are predicting the outcome of this clash. India’s former cricketer VVS Laxman also has some predictions for this fiercest rivalry.

Many experts believe that India can win due to the absence of Steve Smith and David Warner. But VVS Laxman feels that India has the talent that can help them to emerge victorious.

VVS Laxman said, “There will be no possibilities of drawing as its difficult to make a draw in Australian conditions. India will not get an opportunity to make it happen not because Steven Smith and David Warner is not playing in the Australian team. India has quality players to achieve it. Lets hope, they fulfill my prediction as because India has talent, potential and they should play according to it,”.

Before Men in Blue play the first test at Adelaide, they will play a 4-day practice match against Cricket Australia XI in Sydney from November 28 to December 1.

The first test at Adelaide Oval will be followed by the second test match at Perth Stadium on December 14. On December 26 at Melbourne Cricket Ground, the third test will be played and the last and final test match will be played on 3 January 2019 at Sydney Cricket Ground.
