Virat Kohli creates history in Sydney during India vs Australia Third T20I

In the Third T20I at Sydney, Team India leveled the three-match T20I series against Australia by defeating the host. The four-match tests will now begin from December 6 at the Adelaide.

Virat Kohli now has the total of 476 runs in 14 matches against Australia. While playing so, he created a record of most runs scored by a cricketer against a single opponent in the shortest format of the game.

In the Third and the final T20I, Captain Virat Kohli scored a match-winning 61 off 41 balls. Kohli’s majestic knock along with his unbeaten stand with Dinesh Karthik who scored 22 not out off 18 balls gave India the much-needed win.

Along with the Captain, the chase was executed perfectly by the openers who provided the good start for Team India. Shikhar Dhawan who made 41 off 22 balls and Rohit Sharma with 23 off 16 balls.

Team India win the third T20 International by six wickets and draw the three-match series 1-1. While playing during the match, Kohli’s total of 476 runs in 14 matches against Australia surpassed New Zealand’s Martin Guptill who has 463 runs in 15 matches against New Zealand.

The half-century scored by Kohli is also 19th in T20Is and 5th in T20I against Australia. Virat Kohli is regarded as one of the best batsmen in the world. He also surpassed many records during the West Indies tour to India earlier this month.
