The great bond that Sachin Tendulkar and Yuvraj Singh Share

The God of Cricket, Sachin Tendulkar and Yuvi have always been known to share a great bond. From 2000 to 2013 they have shared the dressing room and are together. At the time of Sachin Tendulkar’s retirement, Yuvi was heartbroken.

On the day Tendulkar announced his decision to retire from Cricket, Yuvraj Singh had made a comeback, despite scoring a match-winning 77 runs off 35 balls in the Twenty20 international against Australia in Rajkot, he was saddened by the news of Sachin Tendulkar’s retirement.

Yuvraj Singh hopes to play alongside Sachin Tendulkar for one last time and he said that he would definitely go to watch Sachin’s 200th Test even if he is not the part of squad.

Sachin always guided Yuvraj on and off the field about the things in his life, especially the World Cup journey, so it's been very special for Yuvi. It’s tough for Yuvraj to see Sachin go. He once said that Sachin will always be very special to him and his retirement will be an emotional time for the whole of India.

It is well-known that Yuvraj Singh and Sachin Tendulkar are great friends. Yuvi said, "I don't think I am going to let him go away. I am going to catch hold of his feet and not let him leave the dressing room. It has been amazing to play with him for so many years -- one of the greatest players to have played the game. I don't know what to say,".

Yuvraj Singh always respects Sachin. In 2011,Yuvi mentioned that he wanted to win the World Cup for the Sachin and he did that. Under the captaincy of MS Dhoni ,Team India won the World ICC World Cup 2011.

In 2014, Yuvi touched Sachin's feet at Lord's during an exhibition match when they were on opposing sides. Sachin Tendulkar's warning changed Yuvraj Singh’s angry attitude too. Sachin once scolded Yuvi after he abused his cricket equipment following a poor performance. After that Yuvraj Singh learned from Sachin Tendulkar that keeping cool in stressful times is a symbol of a good sportsperson.
