Here is what BCCI told to Cricket Australia regarding upcoming India’s Tour to Australia

Upcoming India’s Tour to Australia will begin from November 21 in Brisbane with its first T20I and it will end on January 18 in Melbourne with its last and third ODI. India vs Australia Series will include three Twenty20 Internationals, four Test matches, and three One Day Internationals.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) had sent a small team to Australia to check the preparations for their upcoming series. The team has recommended the BCCI to told Cricket Australia (CA) to strike off beef from Team India’s food menu.

The BCCI inspection team have told the hosts CA that the team will appreciate more vegetarian items on the menu, enough fruit supplies, and it will help if preparations were ‘Indianised’. The team wants BCCI to include the no-beef clause to be included in the in the Memorandum of Understanding between BCCI and CA.

During Indian National Cricket Team last tour to England which ended this August, BCCI’s on Twitter tweeted a photo of the team’s lunch menu during the second Test at the Lord’s. The menu included braised beef pasta. The tweet mention as “A well-earned lunch for #TeamIndia,”.

That tweet invited Indian cricket fans to protest against the beef being served to Indian players. So maybe this time BCCI has chosen to play safe and decided not to serve beef at all in the team lunch during matches.

A close source of BCCI has revealed that players in the past have complained that food during the Australia tours has usually been bland. The source told that players often complain about the blandness of food served in Australia.

There are a few vegetarians in the team who really struggle at the grounds pointing to Paceman Ishant Sharma. The inspection team has also roped in an Indian restaurant in Australia to supply curries to the boys.

Source further said that the players now pay as much attention to their diet as they do to the cricketing aspects. Earlier, players even consume cheeseburgers while on tour. It has all changed.

All about Pocket Size Dynamite Kedar Jadhav

Indian Cricketer Kedar Jadhav is an all-rounder Wicket-keeper who bats right-handed and bowls right-arm off-break and keeps as well. Kedar Jadhav has played for U-19 Maharashtra team. Kedar Jadhav is also called as a ‘pocket size dynamite’.

13 Years ago, on 31st October 2005 in Third One Day International of Sri Lanka’s Tour of India in Jaipur, Mahendra Singh Dhoni remained unbeaten and smashed 183 runs off 145 balls. In that knock, he hit 10 sixes and 15 fours. India chased 299 runs and won the match by 6 wickets. This is MS Dhoni’s highest ODI score till now.
